About Us:
At Recycling Partners of Jamaica (RPJ), we’re driving sustainabilityislandwide. As a critical player in Jamaica’s recycling movement, we need skilledand dependable Truck Drivers to move recovered plastics from depots toredemption centres and beyond — safely, on time, and with pride.
What You’ll Do:
- Transport plastic bottles (loose) and baled material between locations across Jamaica
- Conduct daily pre-trip/post-trip inspections and perform basic maintenance
- Ensure all documentation, including mileage, fuel, and load logs, are accurate and up to date
- Practice defensive driving and comply with GOJ road regulations and RPJ’s safety standards
- Communicate route updates or delivery delays in real time
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Jamaican General Driver’s Licence (minimum 5 years commercial driving experience)
- A solid track record — minimum 3 years in logistics or similar heavy-duty trucking
- Basic mechanical awareness and understanding of preventive maintenance
- A commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism
- Strong communication and record-keeping skills
Nice to Have:
- Certificate in Defensive Driving and/or Fleet Safety
- Experience using digital job tracking systems (e.g., cieTrade)
